Getting into the subject of money in the church does not sit well with many people. This is primarily due to the fact that you are exposing their greed and love of money. A quick disclaimer: yes, I am aware that the church must pay its bills. No, I am not referring to giving. I am a giver myself, as I have stated previously. Yet there is a way to do all things. In the case of God, all things are done in a decent and orderly manner. Do not get me wrong; there is absolutely nothing wrong with being a blessing to God's true men and women.
We are attacked when we speak out against those who defraud God's people. In fact, I began writing this two days ago, but yesterday I was blocked by this "prophet". Why is that? A video shows this "Pastor" calling his members poor, cheap, broken, busted, and disgusted. All because he could not get their money as he believed he should. I do not know how people could defend him. The issue was not simply about the money, it was about how he spoke. You are supposed to be the shepherd, but you have belittled, berated and demeaned the sheep that God has placed under your care. My intention was not to go this route but as I began to type I was compelled to mention this scenario.

I have absolutely been guilty of playing and paying into these money games. Not so much based on what they said. I did this because I knew that I could never repay God for what He has done for me and my family. So, I did not care since I owed God everything. This prophetess asked to borrow money and guess what I told them to keep it. It is not necessary for you to repay me. The reason I keep repeating this is that people tend to take things and run with them. The act of giving is not a problem for me. I am a giver. Last month, we attended a revival where the Prophetess addressed the issue of money. My Mother and I both knew that she was about to finesse the people out of their money. She laid the foundation and then she got their money. I was most struck by her statement that the enemy was attempting to attack their resources. Don't you know that God owns every precious rock and every precious gem? Whether it is rubies, sapphires, jades, diamonds, gold, or silver, all of it belongs to Him. It is impossible for the enemy to do anything with what belongs to God.

It has been said before and I will continue to say it. You are not supposed to charge for preaching, prophesying, praying or even talking. I've heard people say you would have to pay a therapist. Once you receive your degree showing that you are a professional counselor, please let me know. We must never charge for any work we do for God or in His name. I fully believe that God will take care of all who do His will. In scripture, He tells us these things. In addition to blessing you, He will use others to bless you too. The other thing that they love to say is that ministry costs money. Well of course it does, you have to have lights, water, and rent if you don't own the church. However, this does not excuse the greed that exists within the church. A lot of these people only accept preaching engagements because they see it as a quick payday. Or they want their names out there so their intentions are wrong from the start. They are not concerned about the souls of the people. I've seen the statuses saying if you want to make money open up a church. There was a time when preachers prayed before accepting engagements. If God didn't give them the ok, guess what they didn't go.

Moreover, these people have a whole entourage that you have to pay for as well. There is a person who carries the Bible, a person who carries the robe, and a person who carries the suitcase. Is it obvious where I'm going with this and how ridiculous it is? Yet we play into these things when God isn't involved. However, they do not like to hear that part, for God is not pleased with it.

Two days ago God gave me "Where is the Charge". Nowhere in scripture whether it be the Old Testament or the New Testament does it mention charging people. Since Jesus is our Savior and our way back to the Father, I am going to use His works as an example. He is our greatest example and there is no one else above Him. Please keep in mind that I am not listing everything He did. Also I want you to go and read and study these scriptures for yourself.

1. The woman at the well: John 4:1-25
2. The woman that committed adultery: John 8:1-11
3. Jesus heals leprosy: Matthew 8: 1-4
4. Jesus heals the blind: John 9:1-12
5. Jesus raised the dead: John 11: 38-44
6. Woman with the issue of blood: Mark 5:25-34
7. Jesus casts out demons: Matthew 8:28-34
8. Jesus teaches at the temple: Luke 21: 1-38
9. Jesus fed the multitude: Matthew 14: 13-21
10. Jesus' Ultimate Sacrifice: Mark 10:45

Jesus never once charged for the miracles, signs, and wonders He performed. Neither did He teach His disciples to do so. Many of these people are not only not performing the works, but are also not living the life. It is true that God still has a people, just as the devil also has a people. Just like there are good policemen, there are bad policemen. There are good doctors then there are bad doctors. Do you see where I am going with this? There is good and bad everywhere, and the church is no exception. It is important to remember that Jesus warned us of these things. I just don't wish to bombard you with scriptures. There is so much more I want to say. Nevertheless, I am going to end it by stating that God had given us a charge.

2 Timothy 4:1-5

I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when the will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall turn to fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

God never intended for man to use the gospel to get rich. Not only are we charged to be a witness unto Him, but also to live holy lives. Living a life that is pleasing unto the Lord. As such, I ask you today, where is the charge?

Remember that God loves you and so do I with the love of Christ.
