It is safe to say that the state of the church is completely out of order. Everything seems to be very different now than when I was a young girl. There are people who call it "old holiness", but God's Word has not changed. People love to say that it doesn't take all of that. Well, I'm here to tell you that yes it does and a whole lot more. Simply because the strongholds are much stronger today than they were back then. The church has become more and more charismatic, and people can do whatever they want to, and God is supposed to be okay with it. They would have you believe that you can still drink, smoke, club. In other words, you don't have to stop doing what you were doing before you say God saved you. You can fornicate, gamble and make no real changes.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things have passed away; all things become new.
God has a standard and Holiness is still right. Do not be deceived. Holiness is a lifestyle; you have to live it daily. We now have club lights and smoke machines in the House of God. The altar is no longer sacred, and it has become a stage. We no longer revere Him in His own house. I have witnessed them putting on a complete show and it was solely for entertainment. Now we have sports championship parties, New Year’s Eve bashes all up in the House of God. God said,” not so”, do you think that His anger is not kindled against us? God's altar has been completely defiled. How are the people being healed, delivered and set free? Who is truly receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost? I've witnessed them allowing people to walk away thinking that they had received the Holy Ghost.
They refuse to tell them to stay on the altar until they are truly ready. The reason is that they want to be able to say that someone got saved during the revival. It's not the fault of the people but it's the leaders that allow these things to continue. They have gotten so far away from the Word of God that it's not even funny. They have taken scripture, twisted it, abused it and made it fit their own agendas. They have used it to manipulate the people. For instance, these two Bishops were on Facebook Live. One of them said how he had given the other one $1000, and that God had blessed him. During the live broadcast, the other Bishop began asking people to sow $1000. Then he said, "when you come before a prophet you need to bring a gift. Wait, hold up, what scripture is that? So let's take a look at what I believe he is referring to.
1 Samuel 9: 6-9 KJV
And he said unto him, Behold now, there is in the city a man of God, and he is an honourable man; all that he saith cometh surely to pass: now let us go thither; peradventure he can shew us our way that we should go. Then said Saul to his servant, But behold, if we go, what shall we bring the man? for the bread is spent in our vessels, and there is not a present to bring to the man of God: what have we? And the servant answered Saul again, and said, Behold, I have here at hand the forth part of a shekel of silver: that will I give to the man of God, to tell us our way. (Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to enquire of God, thus he spake, Come, let us go to the seer: for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.)
Nowhere in the Bible does it state that you have to have a gift for the prophet. Even in that it does not say that it was a requirement. Yet let's take a look at what Saul's response was, he said that all of their bread was spent, meaning that they didn't have any food left. He would have given food as a gift. Then his servant said that he has a fourth part of a shekel of silver. Not even a whole shekel, which from what I could find was about 5 or 6 cents. Not even a dime yet here you are asking for a $1000 and twisting scripture to fit your monetary greed. Again don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with being a blessing to the men and women of God. It is not a requirement, I'm not sharing this to boast about myself. I have bought groceries, given money, and household items. Those people were absolutely thankful.
Matthew 10:41
He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.
They call the $100 prophecy lines and trust me they ask for more than that. The more money you pay the greater the prophecy. Preachers saying that you have to pay them to pray for you, pay them to counsel you. God is not in this, He has no parts of it. To be honest, you're not even doing the works of the prophets of old. This is not the will of God, and He is not pleased. The spirit of discernment is greatly needed in this hour. The Bible tells us that gifts come without repentance. That's what we tend to get caught up in. They are anointed and can prophecy but that doesn't mean that they are living right. I can give two examples from my own experience. The first man is a prophet and as soon as he walked through the doors, I knew that he was a homosexual. Later in the service he prophesied to my sister. I knew that what he said was true.
I decided to myself that I wouldn't say anything about him. Well, sometime later, I found out he was indeed a homosexual. We have been trained and conditioned to believe that we aren't supposed to say anything because they have a title in front of their name. We can't say anything even when we know it's wrong.
1 Chronicles 16:22
Saying touch not mine anointed, And do my prophets no harm.
The second man was a pastor, and I must say I have never heard anyone preach the way this man preached. He would break it down, put it back together to the point that even a child could understand. Yet the whole time he was a homosexual pedophile. He was molesting and having sexual relations with young boys. Again, we get caught up in the gifts and what we think is God.
Matt 24:24
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Matt 7:21-23
Not every one that saith unto me Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. My question is who is going to speak out against the things that are wrong? Who is going to stand for the truth, who is going to stand for God? They have put titles in front of their names and have made themselves untouchable and they try to put fear in you not to speak out.
More could be said about the matter, but I would rather focus on the good news. In other words, there is good news in the sense that God still has people upholding the standards of holiness above all else. People that truly have an ear and a heart for God. Praying daily to do His will and connecting with souls to help bring them to Him. People have risen up and are speaking the words that God has given them. These people aren't concerned with popularity, money, or fame. They are concerned about the truth as well as the souls of the people of God. Despite what men may say or what may be said about them, they do not fear them. The only thing that matters to them is serving God.
God is not pleased with the state of the church at this time, and He is tearing it down. All of these man-made traditions that has nothing to do with scripture will be done away with it. God is raising up a people that are not afraid to stand for the truth. Judgement starts at the House of God, from the pulpit to the door. God is cleaning house, but we still have time to get it right and repent. We can’t be twixt in between. We are living in a time where people do not want to hear the truth, we have to be all in.
Revelation 3:15-16
I know thy works, that thou art neither cold or hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth
Remember that God loves you and so do I with the love of Christ.
